New things in May

Yesterday, I was reminded that I haven’t updated my blog for more than a month. So now I’m writing this blog next to my bf working really really hard to finish his paper.

In the last few weeks, I’ve been trying new things.

I learned making “melting middle” two days ago. It’s quite easy. It takes about 15 minutes to make.

Yes, literally its middle is melting…  and yummy :)

Also, I went swimming for the first time in London. It was such a nice feeling to be in the water and swim as much as I wanted. My bf didn’t enjoy it so much lol, but I hope we can go swimming in the real ocean sometime soon when it gets warmer.

I really miss bodyboarding that I used to do when I was California. Bodyboarding is something like this:

Okay… the wave seems a bit exaggerated.

But it’s different from surfing because you don’t have to stand up on the board and the board itself is much shorter than surfing boards. For surfing, it took me almost a whole day to be able to stand up on the board. But for this sports, you don’t have to stand up, so you can enjoy it after a few rides. Though it could be dangerous in high waves… as I couldn’t get up from bed for a few days when I injured myself pretty bad lol

And also, on this Thursday, I will go to a Zumba class with my friend. I really miss dancing to the beats of Latin American music. So, when I saw a video of Zumba on youtube, I fell in love with it. I hope the class is enjoyable.

Now, it’s time to go back to study legal cases….!!! Chao

It’s already April :O

It’s already April! It’s been more than a week since the lent term ended. It’s been really cold these days although April is supposed to be warmer according to Londoners. I recently saw a very beautiful moon when I was walking into my dorm.

I have been applying for jobs, working for an INGO and meeting friends, but other than that I haven’t done anything so far. Oh I’ve been sleeping a lot too.

I have 2 papers in April, 3 exams in June and a dissertation due in August. Now is a good time to refresh my determination and study a lot :)))

This term is ending tomorrow!

I don’t know how many times I have written time flies so fast, but yes time is flying so fast!

It has been only 5 months since I started studying human rights at LSE, but I’ve got so many things to reflect about human rights. It was quite intense to do both a master and part-time volunteer work at the same time, but I think I learned more than I expected from this experience. It has been definitely worth to learn human rights in London/Europe.

I’m going on a trip from tomorrow night. I’m sure it’s gonna be fun yay!
